Alidad Ahmadi is a civil engineer in the field of Transportation Engineering from San Diego, California. He is currently working as a graduate research assistant at San Diego State University Smart Transportation Analytics Research lab. Alidad is originally from Tehran, Iran. He received his Bachelors' degree in civil engineering from Qom University of Technology in 2014. His passion for learning and education encouraged him to travel to the United Sates to pursue his Master's degree in Transportation Engineering at San Diego State University. Alidad's research work is mainly focused on drivers' safety and human behavior studies within simulator environment. He also has experience in big data cleansing and statistical analysis.

In addition to studying and working as research assistant, Alidad is an active student in school clubs. Currently, he is the AESC representative at the SDSU ITE student chapter and Treasurer at Persian Student Association. In his free time, Alidad enjoys hiking and hanging out with friends, playing soccer, and playing piano.
